On November 1, 2019, the Sun & Moon Cosmic Eclipse set was released. And what a super set that was, with 271 different cards to collect. But of course that’s not all, there are also 3 different Charizards in this series. So a perfect series for the zardhunters among us. There are also a lot of secret rares with this set, that’s kind of a standout. Some sets even have only one and here they cannot be counted on your hands. Below is an image of a Cosmic booster box.
What is included in this set?
Seasoned collectors, of course, already know what’s in this set. But for the newbies among us, we’ll go into a little more detail. Of course, it is helpful if you know what set list there is before you order the product! It is a very comprehensive set with no less than 271 different Pokemon cards in it. So that’s a bit different from what we’re used to like in Champions Path where there are only 70 cards. This set is almost 4 times bigger, so that’s going to be pretty hard to get a master set. There are a lot of great GX cards in there, but also many TAG teams and of course the adored rainbow and gold cards! Below is the set list.
What strikes us about this set?
After looking at the set list, we immediately noticed something. Namely that there are many secret rares to be found. The official list only goes up to 236, but secrets run to 271! That means there are 35 secret rares in this series. That’s really extreme for a Pokemon series. So for us, it’s ideal to open a lot of packages as collectors and collectors. We also notice that the set is extremely large, so you need a lot of luck or a lot of packs to pull off a master set. But that also makes it extra special when you have this set all complete. Furthermore, we notice that it contains not one, two but THREE Charizards! Let the zard hunt begin. You have the normal tag-team GX Charizard number 22. The full art Charizard tag-team GX number 212 and of course the special rainbow Charizard tag-team GX number 251.

The conclusion we can draw is that this is a great set. Whether you are a Charizard hunter, enjoy the beautiful arts or just want to save every card. No matter how you slice it Cosmic Eclipse has something for everyone.
